This evocative farmhouse is located in the Val d'Orcia, 14 km from Radicofani and just outside the walls of Contignano, an ancient village of Roman origin. The stone structure dates back to the mid-16th century. In the 1990s, it was converted into accommodation. It is currently arranged as follows:

On the ground floor are the kitchen, the restaurant with a large lounge, the lift room, two bathrooms with ante-bathrooms, and a large outdoor courtyard of about 1100 square metres, where there is also a warehouse and a technical room.

On the first floor is a large living room currently used as a bar, three rooms and two bathrooms with ante-bathrooms. This floor can easily be converted into a living area or additional rooms in the event of interest for residential use.

On the second floor are five rooms each with en-suite bathroom.

It is possible to create a spa centre as a usable thermal water table has been found in the ground, a technical report on this is available.

The road to Contignano intersects with ancient crossroads leading to the town of Pienza and to the other beautiful villages of the Val d'Orcia. The Val di Chiana is also very close and accessible: Chianciano Terme and Montepulciano are about 20 minutes by car, so the property can be a starting point for cultural and food-and-wine itineraries.
